Founded in 1996, Debbie Whyte began her business by doing monogramming jobs for friends on a standard Sears sewing machine in her basement. The company quickly grew to multiple commercial monogramming machines. For over 15 years, Whyte House Monograms was featured in many charity shows supporting the local community and schools around the Washington DC area. For the past two years, Whyte House Monograms has been located at The Collection in Chevy Chase, MD, and carries a variety of gifts ranging from linens, jewelry, handbags, men’s, children’s, and will monogram and personalize outside items.
